ABOUT COMY

The Conference Of Messianic Yisrael is an association of congregations and individuals who subscribe to the foundations of faith in "On This We Stand".  The purpose of the association is to serve a three-fold mission - Educate, Equip, & Evangelise - as instructed by Y'shua in the Great Commission:

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, and baptise them in THE Name of the Father and the Son and the Ruach haKodesh, and teach them to keep all that I have commanded you"

This cycle begins when one returns to Yahweh and His Torah to be educated and equipped through teaching and discipleship, for the purpose of evangelism - going to reach more of the lost sheep with the good news of Y'shua.  Thus, we come together in the unity of the Ruach, to educate, equip, and evangelise, agreeing in unity on the foundations of faith, and in grace putting aside our other doctrinal differences.

In COMY, every member is equal.  There is no board, no single leader, no agenda.  We follow Y'shua as the head of the body and seek to learn from Him through each other.  Every leader of member congregations and ministries has complete freedom to post training articles, resource materials, and information for the body.  On this site can thus be found a complete range of opinions and interpretations of many different issues - all in one place!

COMY also serves as a place where the body can network together for ministry, producing resource materials to fulfill the Great Commission.  There are several working committees which guide various functions of the association, and every member is encouraged to participate in the areas of their unique gifting.
